  I had a gum graft done by them recently. Dr. Walsh is a really nice guy who'll ask you how you're doing, any updates, etc, before launching into anything medical. The gum graft involved taking some tissue from the roof of my mouth and stitching it onto an area with a receding gum line. I was really nervous for the operation (although its a rather small one). First he used topical Novocaine, let that numb then began injecting Novocaine, this was the only time it hurt even the slightest bit and it was just a slight pinch. After that I couldn't feel anything and I just let them get to work. Recovery's been awesome, I haven't experienced any of the - it feels like you burned your mouth with pizza feeling - and no bleeding. Eating was just annoying and I stuck with smoothies and yogurt for a while, although I was perfectly capable to eat harder foods I worried about the scab on the roof of my mouth and the newly moved gum hurt if I used the muscles around it to chew anything more than bread, etc. This was my experience! Just wanted to say they're awesome people, the atmosphere is perfect, and the operation and recovery has been a breeze!
